When your installation is interrupted and you are using MSI installer you could use the following command to write the whole process of installation untill the moment of interruption in log file and obtain some useful information that maight solve your problem.

msiexec /i product.msi /L*v log.txt

Where log.txt is the name and the format of the log file, and product.msi is the name of the software that we want to install.
